Ze hebben een heerlijk terras, goede koffie en een hele fijne lunchkaart.
Binnen vind je ook een mooie bovenruimte en een lichte serre, perfect voor bijvoorbeeld babyshowers of kleine events.

Pasen betekent voor mij altijd veel: de geboorte van Jezus, maar ook het moment dat ik ontdekte dat ik zwanger was van mijn zoontje, een tijd van nieuw leven, hoop en 𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐛𝐚𝐚𝐫𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐝 🙏
Dit jaar vier ik het rustig thuis met mijn kleine man. Samen de tafel dekken, kaarsjes aan, en even stilstaan bij wat er écht toe doet.
✨ 𝐓𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐢𝐩: de borden en kaarsenset komen van De Bijenkorf. Geen samenwerking, gewoon een tip voor wie van goud servies houdt.

Bij Douwe Egberts in Arnhem hebben ze niet alleen een 𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐮𝐰 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐮, maar ook een 𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐮𝐰𝐞 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐡𝐨𝐞𝐤.
Vlakbij het Willemsplein, naast de bushaltes en dichtbij Pathé Arnhem, dus perfect te combineren met een dagje stad of een film.
Ik werk hier zelf vaak even op mijn laptop. En sinds kort nóg relaxter, want terwijl mijn zoontje speelt in de speelhoek, kan ik rustig mijn koffie drinken.

Net over de grens ontdekte ik een verborgen pareltje 🤎
Bij El Molino voel je meteen de warmte: een knus bistro café waar alles met liefde wordt bereid door de eigenaresse uit Chili. Haar authentieke Chileense recepten hebben hier echt een plekje gevonden en dat proef je in alles.
Mijn favorieten? De chai latte; heerlijk kruidig met een bijna kurkuma-achtige twist en de frisse pie de lima 😍 Maar ook de empanadas zijn zó lekker dat je eigenlijk gewoon alles wilt proberen.
Met het zonnetje op het terras bij de molen ☀️, een drankje in m’n hand en goed eten voor me… komt de Bourgondiër in mij weer helemaal tot leven.

Wat een héérlijk weer was het gisteren.

Tijdens mijn zwangerschap sprak ik vaak over de lotusbloem.

Wat hebben we genoten 2025, een jaar vol met groei, maar ook onverwachte wendingen. Ik kijk enorm uit naar 2026. Waar ik doorga als Finalist Miss Gelderland. In December vier ik vooral het samenzijn met mijn kleine jongen die ook deze maand alweer 2 wordt en familie & vrienden. Volgend jaar start ik het jaar met een inzamelingsactie voor stichting @simavinl en doneren kan via de link in mijn bio. ✨🥹🙏

We sliepen bij Dubai Hills Estate, op loopafstand van Dubai Hills Mall, en we hebben er letterlijk overal mee rondgecruised.
Hij gaat makkelijk mee, je bergt hem zo op en dat maakte de vakantie gewoon écht net wat leuker. Mama shoppen in The mall en de kleine op met de driewieler cruisend door The Hills🌴
En ja mijn stem (ik was verkouden) maar als solo-mom gaat het leven gewoon dóór! Herkenbaar?

Vandaag luisterde ik met mijn zoontje naar het verhaal van Bambi en ineens voelde ik het zó diep.
Het ging niet alleen over een hertje.
Het ging over zelf doen.
Over dat mama er is, soms even weggaat,
maar dat je me altijd zult voelen, horen, ruiken.
Over vertrouwen.
Over weten dat je nooit echt alleen bent
ook als je zelf leert lopen, vallen en opstaan.
En ergens raakte dat precies de essentie van moederschap voor mij:
niet altijd vasthouden, maar aanwezig blijven, in geur, stem en hartslag.
💛 mijn zoontje mijn zonneschijn.
✨ Kijkend in de spiegel… zie ik niet alleen mijn reflectie, maar ook een moment om stil te staan.
De herfst nodigt uit om te vertragen, te voelen en goed voor jezelf te zorgen. 🍂
Een zachte reminder: adem diep, omarm jezelf en creëer ruimte voor wat jou voedt.

Vandaag ontdekten we WOPL Amsterdam en eerlijk, dit is echt zo’n plek waar je uren kunt blijven.
Terwijl hij zich verwonderde over de krokodil die hapte 🐊💦 en alles in de waterwereld ontdekte, zat ik met een cappuccino in het WOPL Café.
Alles is er met zoveel aandacht gemaakt: van de speelhoeken voor de allerkleinsten tot het WOPL-boekje vol kleine ontdekkingen.
Een plek waar spelen, leren en ontspannen samenkomen 💫

Real. Tired. Grateful. Zo’n eerste vakantiedag waarop álles misgaat. (kind viel op de stenen en direct tand door z’n lip met mega veel bloed)
Zo’n eerste vakantiedag waarop álles misgaat..
als single mom in een vreemd land, voor het eerst,
en toch: daar zit je. In de stilte van het onbekende.
Kansen zien. Ademhalen. Genieten.
Een tantrum hoort erbij, thuis of ver weg.
De tweede dag na mijn bevalling stond ik al bij mijn favoriete koffietent voor matcha en pistache-cake
dus ook op vakantie: ritme, comfort, authentiek.
Wat ik ermee wil zeggen:
Als ik het alleen kan, kun jij het ook.
Mijn time-management is on point, en daar gá ik op.
In vier dagen vier plekken: Dénia, Moraira, Valencia & Alicante.
en toch: het was de meest ontspannen vakantie ooit.
Geen rush. Alleen flow.

Ik moest vertragen.
Mijn lichaam dwong me stil te staan.
Na vier maanden koos ik: zonlicht, harmonie, mezelf.
En daarmee — solo motherhood.
Maar liefde vond ik niet minder.
Integendeel.
Mijn zoon liet me zien wat echte liefde is.
Hij is mijn spiegel, mijn ritme, mijn village. 🤍
Hij herrinert me elke dag: liefde is niet haastig.
